h+b technics lift system installation

overview

For this project, our client requested to have a hydraulic platform installed on the Atlantis 47 in order to bring a tender/jetski on board. MS1 installed the H+B Technics Lift system type 4, 800kg SWL & 1,000kg SWL to help the client with this request. This entire installation process took 2 weeks to complete.

Steel plates installation
Stage 1 - Steel Plates Installation
STAGE 1

Steel plates were installed to reinforce the stern of this boat and the first bonding with glue was applied to secure the steel plates in place.

Shaping the Stern's Surface
STAGE 2

The stern's surface was then sanded down and shaped into a curve.

Application of Fiberglass

STAGE 3

Fiberglass was stuck with glue to the stern's surface both externally and internally to reinforce the strength of the stern.

Application of Epoxy Resin
STAGE 4

A second coat of epoxy resin was applied to the stern to bond the surface of the stern.

Installation of the H+B Technics Hydraulic Base
STAGE 5

The transom section was marked and holes were drilled into the stern for the hydraulic hoses to pass through, so the H+B Technics base could be secured and bolted with the transom section. The hoses were re-routed and connected to the hydraulic pump.

Installation of the H+B Technics Hydraulic Arm Lift
STAGE 6

The H+B Technics Hydraulic jack was secured in place, and the teak platform was aligned in place and bolted to the H+B Technics Hydraulic Arm Lift.

Fabrication of Hydraulic tray
STAGE 7

A new tray for the Hydraulic Pump was fabricated and installed on the engine room floor.

Electrical Set-up
STAGE 8

24v power from DB was connected to the pump with a fuse and breaker.

Testing
STAGE 9

The oil system was filled, and the H+B Technics Hydraulic Arm Lift was tested and became fully operational.
