Amare PORTHOLE INSTALLATION

overview

A porthole on the majestic Riva 100′ Corsaro 2017 model had been damaged and was collecting rust. Moisture had also seeped inside the porthole, which did not appear well on board the yacht. The MS1 team worked to install the Amare porthole on the yacht, being one of the best portholes in the market.

INTERNAL WORK

Removal of broken porthole

STAGE 1

With an Allen key, the outer frame was disassembled and the old porthole was removed.

CLEANING THE AREA OF INSTALLATION

Stage 2

The frame area, old silicon, and surface were cleaned with acetone.

Installation of the Amare Porthole

Stage 3

The new Amare unit was fixed into place and silicon was applied to the outer areas to hold the porthole in place.
